Career: John McKnight has a long and distinguished career
in journalism and broadcast communications. As an anchor at a CBS affiliate
in one of the nation's top ten markets he spoke to thousands live every
night. He has been described by a veteran news executive as one of the most
respected journalists in Atlanta, and by former Georgia Senator Zell Miller
as a "true professional." John's
credibility as a trustworthy communicator was cemented with his coverage as
a field reporter for the first Gulf War. From the news studio, John anchored
the coverage of major events, including 12 consecutive hours on the desk anchoring
coverage of the Olympic Park Bombing in Atlanta Georgia.
His work has been honored with numerous awards, including an Emmy for Investigative
Reporting, the Associated Press Award for Best Reporting three years in a
row, the Silver Gavel Award from the Georgia Bar Association, and several
